Reminder to all residents: Bring your valid SIB Resident ID Card to enjoy the barbecue for FREE. Without the Card the meal is $10 per person. Check the expiration date on your SIB Resident ID Card now; expired cards are not valid for the free meal.

Remember: At the anniversary, and any other City event, a Florida Driver’s License is NOT valid proof of residency for discounts. Patrons must show the official SIB Resident ID Card for the free barbecue. Residents without an official SIB Resident ID Card will be charged the

Non-Resident price of $10 per each meal. No SIB Resident ID Cards will be issued at the anniversary event on June 7.

Plan ahead, get or renew your FREE official SIB Resident ID Card now! SIB Resident ID Cards are available at two locations:

The Government Center (18070 Collins Avenue) is open six days a week to issue Cards, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Pelican Community Park (18115 North Bay Road) is open seven days a week, Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm, and Sunday from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Residency must be verified to get a new SIB  Resident ID Card or to renew an existing Card, which has expired. Proof of residency includes two items:

1. Your Driver’s License or Florida Resident Card (which shows your local address).

2. A utility bill, or copy of your lease or property tax bill, with name and address matching your photo ID.
