Mount Sinai Medical Center is pleased to welcome its two newest physicians in the areas of primary care and endocrinology. Dr. Yuliya Korinenko is an internist and primary care physician, with board certification in internal medicine. Dr. Sylvia Diaz is an endocrinologist, with a board certification in internal medicine and board eligibility in endocrinology.

Both doctors are currently seeing patients at the Mount Sinai Aventura physician offices, located at 2845 Aventura Boulevard. They will also see patients at the highly anticipated Mount Sinai Primary & Specialty Care Sunny Isles Beach office set to open in April and located at 323 Sunny Isles Boulevard. Mount Sinai’s Sunny Isles Beach office will also offer services in cardiology and urology.

Dr. Korinenko earned her medical degree at Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minnesota, and completed her internal medicine residency at Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in Jacksonville, Florida. She also holds a Master of Science degree in management from the University of Florida. A native of Ukraine, Dr. Korinenko moved to Florida with her family as a child. She is fluent in English and Russian.

Dr. Diaz earned her medical degree at Escuela Autonoma de Ciencias Medicas de Centro America in San Jose, Costa Rica, and completed her endocrinology fellowship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Diaz is fluent in English and Spanish.
