SIB Cheerleader Team performed a special routine.

The participants who toured the Haunted House at the Sunny Isles Beach annual Halloween event this year experienced more thrills and chills than ever. Visitors exited the two-story horror-filled attraction holding onto each other and screaming. One father remarked, “The actors would come out of nowhere, it was very creepy and surprising.”

For the faint of heart, there were games in the gymnasium, carnival rides all around the park and performances by the Rainbow Circus. Creepy Critters such as lizards, snakes and spiders were on display and could even be held if one felt brave enough.

In a new twist, the costume contest was conducted through the city’s Facebook page this year. Winners were judged by the number of “Likes” that they received. Winners were not available at time of printing but will be posted in the next issueof this newspaper.

The pumpkin contest, which was decided by press time, produced the following winners:
Most Original – Anastasiya Obrien Scariest – Justine Okurowski Funniest – Stephan Swanes
