Following our Sunny Isles Beach holiday tradition, Mayor Norman S. Edelcup flipped the switch and the park glowed with thousands of colorful lights.
The interactive activities included: Nintendo Wii (snow sports), rides, face painting, arts and crafts, pictures with Santa, a Sand Castle 101 Class (learn to build your own sand castle) and pictures taken in front of the custom sand castle.
The castle, constructed with over 10 tons of sand, was impressive and the hit of the event.
