The Kiwanis Club of N. Miami Beach & Sunny Isles Beach has just celebrated their 57 years serving our communities with a focus on the needs of children. They are a part of the larger Kiwanis International in existence for 98 years with over 500,000 members. Their motto is, “Serving the Children of the World”. They have a golden history of doing just that. Their local clubs focus on local needs but they pull together and accomplish huge International projects in partnership with the UNICEF organization such as the Iodine Project that prevented mental retardation in millions of children. This Iodine project originated in our own local Kiwanis Club! They are now engaged in the “Eliminate Project” which will save the lives of millions of children by vaccinating their mothers against Maternal Neonatal Tetanus.

We are proud of our Kiwanis Club and want all our citizens to know of their good works and invite all to attend one of their meetings held weekly Wednesdays at Tony Romas’ restaurant directly next to Sunny Isles Beach City Hall.
