Station 5 Table & Bar Unveils New Family-Style Supper Dining Concept

Station 5 Table & Bar Executive Chef and Owner, Julia Ning, is all about family. So much so, that she has redesigned her supper menu concept at this popular South Miami hotspot to encourage guests to dine family-style.

“The family-style concept embodies the spirit of Station 5 Table & Bar. An array of creatively crafted, seasonal dishes on every table, inspired by cuisines from around the world, meant to be shared and enjoyed together,” says Ning.

The idea behind eating family-style is for the table to share a main entrée, three to four smaller dishes, and one or two desserts, rather than ordering individual entrées and a shared appetizer. Off the new supper menu, Chef Ning’s recommended combination, for a table of four, is the Lobster Fra Diavolo Pasta entrée, accompanied with smaller plates such as the Mushroom Polenta, PEI Mussels, Green Bean Caesar Salad, Heirloom Tomatoes, and Bread Pudding for dessert.

“Growing up, my grandmother transformed her kitchen into a non-stop neighborhood hub of cooking and entertaining for the entire community,” says Ning. “That is what I want all my customers to experience when they eat at my restaurant, a sense of camaraderie and comfort in the food they are enjoying together.”

Current supper specials include Prix Fixe Sunday Supper – a condensed version of the menu, with the choice of any small plate + any large plate + any dessert for $30, and red wine by the glass for $5
