Miami Dade College (MDC) head baseball Coach Danny Price recently achieved his 1,200th win at a game against Palm Beach State, with a final score of 14-6.

“This team has been through a lot this season and we are all growing together,” Coach Price said. “I am looking forward to the rest of the season and what it has in store for our team.”

Price began his career as head coach at Florida International University for 28 years before joining MDC to continue his legacy and lead one of the best college baseball teams in the nation.

“It is more about relationships and the existing friendships that last the longest and get teams and coaches to work the best together,” Coach Price added.

Price won his 1,000th game in 2005, where he was the 32nd all-time to win 1,000 games and never thought that he would still be on the field helping young baseball players excel in all areas of the game.

“I am happy that I am surrounded by studentathletes and coaches who have helped me reach this point in my career,” Coach Price said.
