We are pleased to inaugurate our 2014 Conservation Concert Series with High Pines resident Dr. Steve Chavoustie and the Take Sixx band. Back by popular demand, Take Sixx has again volunteered to rock the old Doc Thomas House and grounds. “ConCon” initiates are already counting down to the loveliest, most enchanting old Florida evening imaginable. Don’t miss out.
A solo food truck appearance by Jefe’s Original Fish Taco & Burgers will sate appetites; additionally, TAS community partner restaurants (George’s, Sports Grill SoMi, Whisk Gourmet & The Big Cheese) offer takeout. A donation Bird Bar, courtesy of Republic National Distributing Co., provides refreshments. Picnic tables available on a first-come basis.
$10 donation, children free, and all proceeds will benefit capital improvements to the grounds and historic buildings at the Tropical Audubon Society. Doors open at 7 p.m., music begins at 7:30 p.m.
