WHAT: American Airlines, a long-time supporter of the local non-profit Shake-A-Leg Miami, is donating a tug to the organization to help in their mission of improving the health, education, and independence of people with disabilities, disadvantaged youth and their families through interactions with the marine environment.

BACKGROUND: American Airlines has been a proud sponsor of Shake-A-Leg Miami for more than 10 years. During this period of time, American Airlines employees in Miami and their families have volunteered their time and skills to the organization. This is the second tug that American donates to Shake-A-Leg Miami, which is currently used to move sailboats from land to water.
