Scenes from last years Nights of Lights festival at Pinecrest Gardens.

Families looking for a little sparkle during the holidays will find thousands of twinkling ways to celebrate at Pinecrest Gardens when we once again light up the night at our annual Live Like Bella Nights of Lights Festival.

The Live Like Bella Foundation was founded in memory of Bella Rodriguez- Torres, a four-year-old who was diagnosed with stage four Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer in 2007. Her doctors said she would never walk again and had only a few months to live. But she regained the ability to walk, run and jump, and battled cancer for almost six years, inspiring people around the world.

From Nov. 26-Jan. 4, visitors to Pinecrest Gardens will embark on a magical journey into a holiday adventure. You can enjoy visiting this winter wonderland every weekend night (Friday-Sunday) until Dec. 19 when we will be open every night through until Jan. 4. We will open the park each night at 6 p.m. and remain open until 9 p.m.

The holiday tree will be located just outside the entrance to the Gardens where we will host our official tree-lighting ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 6, at our annual Holiday Festival. Each night the garden will be transformed into an enchanted paradise of illuminated sculptures featuring animals, birds, fish, flowers and winter scenes, all created with bright colored lights that set the night sky ablaze. New displays are added each year, so it’s never the same show twice.

One of the annual highlights is our giant banyan tree aglow with thousands of lights, along with the two giant peace doves located at the entrance above our koi pond and fountain. Each night features a different activity for one hour starting at 7 p.m. For a schedule of events and times, go to our website at pinecrestgardens.org or call 305-669-6990.
