Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay will host the Lucky 13 Casino Night and awards presentation for Pets’ Trust Miami on June 6.
The beautiful showroom of the Mercedes- Benz dealership will be brimming with gaming tables provided by Casino Party Nights Florida, the number one private casino atmosphere company in Florida, using authentic Las Vegas tables and professional croupiers. Fabulous food will be provided by local restaurants, including the Crepemaker, Sidewalk Salads, Lots o’ Lox, Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, Mike’s Italian Restaurant and Ra-Sushi. Delicious desserts will be served by You Oughta Taste My Mama’s Cakes. Three open bars will serve premium beverages. There will be a wide range of vendors from Miami shops, including massage from Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa. And there will be an awards presentation to the Lucky 13, a celebration of South Florida’s top animal advocates, citizens who have given generously of their time and money to help Miami’s forgotten animals.
Zoo Miami communications director Ron Magill will be master of ceremonies for the evening. Magill is a long-time animal advocate and has dedicated his life to them. Several local celebrities are expected to make cameo appearances, but you’ll have to come to find out who they are.
The evening will benefit Pets Trust Miami, the grassroots initiative started in 2012 to stop the killing of thousands of dogs and cats annually at the Miami-Dade Animal Shelter, and another 20,000 abandoned on the streets. The goal was to create programs to save the animals, including $12 million to fund low cost or free spay-neuter programs to reduce the animal overpopulation issue in Miami-Dade and throughout the country. More than 500,000 residents voted in favor of the resolution, but elected officials refused to implement the measure.
Tickets are on sale for $50 each online at: www.petsvoice.org, as well as raffle tickets for a two year lease on a brand new $40,000 Mercedes. Food, drink, gaming, shopping, prizes, (trip to Paris) all for $50, ($75 at the door), and all to benefit a very worthy cause. We are expecting over 500 guests to attend so get your tickets early. It will be a very ‘lucky’ evening for all!
