The vaudevillian sex comedy duo The Wet Spots comes to South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center (SMDCAC) in February for the Center’s acclaimed Cabaret Series.
The performances are Saturday, Feb. 1, at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 on the day of the show and can be purchased at www.smdcac. org or by calling the box office at 786-573-5300. The SMFCAC enter is located at 10950 SW 211 Street in Cutler Bay. Free parking is available.
Picture a husband and wife team from the golden age of comedy. Think sex club by way of Monty Python. Using a lively blend of original songs, audience interaction, spankings and sing-a-longs, The Wet Spots draw their fans into a world where the libido is celebrated and satirized. The duo started playing together in 2003, and quickly became headliners at Vancouver cabarets and comedy clubs.
The performances, part of the center’s Cabaret Series, take place in the intimate Black Box Theater which seats up to 130 people and includes table seating with bar service and light food.
