Movies on the Plaza — a free, familyfriendly event sponsored by Brickell World Plaza — will present The Phantom of the Opera on Friday, Nov. 30, starting at 8 p.m. Brickell World Plaza is located at 600 Brickell Ave.
The Phantom of the Opera is the story of a disfigured musical genius who haunts the catacombs beneath the Paris Opera, waging a reign of terror over its occupants. When he falls fatally in love with the lovely Christine, the Phantom devotes himself to creating a new star for the Opera, exerting a strange sense of control over the young soprano as he nurtures her extraordinary talents.
Admission is free and parking is free in the surface lot. Chair rentals are available. Bring dinner; bring snacks. Coolers are allowed, but no glass or bottles. Movies nights are subject to favorable weather conditions.
