Walgreens along with the City of Miami Beach help protect the community’s environment, while continuing to work on solutions for sustainable long term growth. In total there are 11 stores located in the city.

Styrofoam is no longer allowed in Miami Beach parks, and city vendors and restaurants that operate on city sidewalks can’t use the product.

Commissioner Michael Grieco says Miami Beach is the first city in Florida to enact such a prohibition.
