On December 31, The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach will host “Blanc 2014,” a New Year’s event like no other on Miami Beach. An elegant way to ring in the new year and support education, inclusive tickets are $120! The Ritz- Carlton, South Beach, will be converted into a white winter playground and boasts to take guests on a one-of-a-kind magical journey. Additionally, a portion of ticket sales will benefit the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Education Foundation, which supports the needs of public education on Miami Beach.
“This New Year’s event will be a one of a kind experience,” said events coordinator and producer Emi Guerra. “From the décor to the entertainment, guests will welcome 2014 in style and be able to help out a good cause as well. We are thrilled to be able to give back to Miami Beach, a community that we have embraced and has given us so much in return.”
DJ Cassidy, who has performed for President Barack Obama, Jay-Z and Beyonce, and Oprah, to name a few, will provide the entertainment for the evening. DJ Cassidy has gained worldwide acclaim for electrifying crowds through his unique capacity to effortlessly blend musical genre no matter the crowd or setting. His fans rely on him to capture sounds that are hot and cutting- edge, but also those that are classic and timeless. Drawing on all forms of music, DJ Cassidy continues to astound audiences with his uncanny ability to connect to everyone within his reach. DJ Cassidy recently debuted select songs from his album while opening for Jay Z and Justin Timberlake on their 2013 Legends Of The Summer stadium tour and while acting as the one-man-houseband for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. In February 2014, Cassidy will join Robin Thicke and Jessie J on Robin’s nationwide tour. He’s also the official DJ for LVMH (Louis Vuitton).
The purpose of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Education Foundation is to bring together the strengths and resources of the community to support the needs of public education in Miami Beach. To stimulate greater governmental and public awareness and appreciation of the importance of public education in Miami Beach; to encourage greater and more efficient use of governmental and private resources for the development and support of public education in Miami Beach; to encourage and support public education in Miami Beach; to create and support educational opportunities for residents of Miami Beach.
