National Air Cargo, the world’s leading freight solutions provider specialising in heavy weight shipments, with an integrated global network delivering airfreight anywhere on the planet, has donated transportation services and supplies to support American Heritage faculty members and students who volunteered their time and worked tirelessly for the Hurricane Sandy Relief Collection held recently. Within one week, students have collected and filled a 57-foot trailer of relief supplies through the charity drive that was led by Ms. Cavallo, a member of the teaching staff whose friends and family were devastated by the super storm that shattered countless lives and communities in the North-Eastern part of the United States.
Speaking about her participation in the relief operations, Mrs. Lori Alf, owner and board member of National Air Cargo Group, says “It was an incredible experience to work alongside these children who were so passionate about helping. It is a proud moment to see American Heritage excel at teaching its students on giving back to the community.”
Mrs. Alf’s three children go to American Heritage.
