In 1993 the property became the first official historic art deco bed and breakfast in Miami Beach better known as the “Jefferson House”

A Certificate of Excellence winner, Sobe You prides itself on its premiere one-on-one service, which includes VIP guest services, VIP guest packages and its exclusive gourmet personalized breakfast served poolside. Now owned by entrepreneurs Ricardo Gamboa and Thomas Hill, and managed by Dennisse Malky, the guest suites have been redecorated but still keep its original feel.

Sobe You was built in the art deco era as the home of prominent builder William Wigen, who was famous for designing several Star Island and Miami Beach homes as well as hotels. The Guest Carriage House, in the back property was designed by famous architect Albert Anis. Some of Anis’ creations include The Abbey Hotel, The Waldorf Towers, The Temple Emanuel, Leslie Hotel, Viscaya Hotel and Winterhaven Hotel, among others.
