Alan G. Randolph is a Senior Vice President at SunTrust Bank in Private Wealth Management and has been very fortunate with a successful career in banking, with many of his clients living in the city of Miami Beach.
Originally from Enid, Oklahoma, Alan moved to Miami Beach in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Tampa and is currently a North Beach resident. He became part of the rebirth of Miami Beach with the new businesses, hotels and real estate opportunities that began to take shape in the early 1990s.
Alan’s passion is volunteering his time for various charities and not-for-profits and giving back to his community. To name a few, he currently serves as the Treasurer of the Bass Museum of Art and is an active board member for the Mount Sinai Medical Center Foundation and the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, where he served as Chair from 2004 until 2006.
Every year, Alan co-chairs the Brunch for the Animals for the Humane Society of Miami – Dade. This year the event was held at Merrick Park, which raised $65,000 through his efforts along with his co-chair and “pet partner in crime,” Amy Zakarin. The spay and neuter problem is of special interest to Alan and he believes that there is a way to save the lives of every cat and dog in Miami Dade County.
With his interest in contemporary art, Alan became a minority partner with his good friend, Jeff Lawson, in conceptualizing and creating the UNTITLED. Art Fair, which will open on December 3rd. The idea was to engage the Miami Beach LOCAL community with a new international fair that would offer collectors an alternative viewing experience.
Randolph and Lawson selected John Keenen and Terrence Riley of respected architecture firm K/R to design a compelling structure that will highlight the prime beachfront location at Ocean Drive and 12th street and create an engaging environment that maximizes the flow of the space. The fair will highlight a mix of established and emerging galleries, representing the most impactful living artists at the forefront of contemporary art.
