The Youth Fair Announces 3 NEW RIDES

_IGP4380-2Now in its 62nd year, The Miami-Dade County Youth Fair & Exposition is thrilled to announce they are adding three new Amusement Park rides. That means fair goers can experience 100 thrilling rides this year. The 3 NEW rides include:

• Speed
It’s fast and furious! This new ride hurls people 130 feet high and then spins them around like a helicopter propeller.

• Air Race
The sky is the limit! If you have what it takes to be an aerial pilot this is the ride for you. Air Race swoops and soars as you fly through barrel rolls, dips and unmatched curves that take riders on an flying experience that nears 4G’s of force.

• Kiddie Land Train
All aboard! Good old-fashioned family fun is what this new kids train is all about. Kids together with their parents can hop aboard the new Choo Choo Train and enjoy the ride.

The Youth Fair is located on Coral Way (SW 24th St.) at 112th Ave. Gates open on weekdays at 3 p.m., Saturdays & Sundays at 12 p.m. and at 12 p.m. during Spring Break, which takes place March 22 – 29, 2013. General admission $10 and FREE admission for children 5 years and younger. Admission for active duty and retired military personnel $5 during weekdays (with military ID). Parking is always FREE! Preferred parking is available for $15 per vehicle. Space is limited.

The Youth Fair also offers many amenities for families, including: stroller and wheelchair rental, lost & found, paved walkways, convenient sitting areas, lush landscape, diaper changing facilities/restrooms and more. Sponsors include KIA MOTORS, Pepsi and Sedano’s Supermarkets.

The Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition, known for generations as The Youth Fair, is a private, not-for- profit organization that has donated well over $10 million in scholarships, awards and cash premiums to Miami-Dade students and is dedicated to supporting education and South Florida agriculture.
