Sandra Fine, APR, vice president of rbb Public Relations, a national marketing public relations firm that champions breakout brands, has been named president of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Miami Chapter.

Fine has been a member of PRSA Miami since 2008. She previously was chair of the college relations committee, a board member at large, secretary and president-elect. Fine also is accredited in public relations (APR) by PRSA.

“As part of our employeedriven workplace, rbb strongly supports community leadership and is committed to helping current and future practitioners stay ahead of the curve in today’s everchanging communications industry,” said rbb CEO and managing partner Christine Barney, a PRSA Miami past president.

“Sandra has dedicated herself to becoming a leader in our field and we’re proud to have her represent rbb and the South Florida community among public relations professionals nationally.”

Fine has managed several award-winning client campaigns that have garnered the agency top recognition including a Silver Anvil from the Public Relations Society of America for reputation/brand management and a Gold SABRE from the Holmes Report for corporate reputation.

In addition, she was named to the PR News 2008 “15 to Watch” list, a national award given to 15 up-and-coming communications professionals under the age of 30 who demonstrate outstanding performance and a keen understanding of the profession beyond their years.

Fine is the fourth member of rbb Public Relations to lead a local PRSA Chapter.
