Local Ministry to Host Free Marriage Renewal Ceremonies for Couples Living in Kendall

I Do Renew Title GraphicNew Jerusalem Ministry (NJM) is offering married couples a unique opportunity to say “I Do” all over again. Through its “I Do Renew” initiative, NJM will provide couples with preparation courses administered by certified marriage mentors. Couples who complete the courses will take part in a special vow renewal ceremony at the beautiful church facility in the presence of their invited guests. All this is free of charge with dinner and childcare included.

“In a world where divorce seems to be the norm we feel charged with doing our part to help married couples renew their commitment to each other and their families. I Do Renew will take couples that desire to further invest in their marriage on a journey of rediscovery, where they will find their union is special and deserving of celebration. We are starting off with the Kendall community, because it is where we live and serve,” said husband and wife of 18 years Daniel and Mayte Cordones, both pastors at NJM.

Couples will gather every Friday at 7PM, beginning Friday, September 27th, for the five-week marriage renewal preparation courses.

The courses will take place at NJM, located at 5400 SW 122nd Avenue in Miami. Space is limited to 15 couples and certain requirements must be met. Application deadline is Friday, September 20th. The ceremonies will take place Sunday afternoons beginning in November.
