Miami-area Dunkin’ Donuts franchise owners Scott Ball, Andrew Faber and Fred Guttenberg raised more than $11,687 for Make-A-Wish Southern Florida with the help of all six of their Miami-area restaurants.

The result was enough money raised by year-end to grant wishes for two children suffering from life threatening medical conditions.

Thanks to these franchise owners, Patricia, a 9-year-old from Miami with acute lymphoid leukemia, was able to fly to Chicago and see the American Girl Place.

The second Wish child, Isabella, is a 4- year-old girl from Hialeah. She recently underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor. Isabella wished to go to all of the Orlando theme parks to meet Snow White.

Patricia and her family were hosted at the Dunkin’ Donuts, 12930 SW 120 St. in Kendall, on Jan. 10 to celebrate her wish being granted.
