KFHA holiday party on Dec. 12 seeks donors for kids in need

The Kendall Federation of Homeowner Associations (KFHA) will host its fourth annual “Children of Farm Share Holiday Program,” bringing elementary school children from one of Miami-Dade County’s lowest income areas to Kendall on Friday, Dec. 12, to celebrate the holiday season.

A visit from Santa, gifts, treats and other festivities will mark the occasion, from 7-9 p.m., in the Civic Pavilion of the Kendall Village Center, 8625 SW 124 Ave.

For many, the gifts provided through generous donations are the only gifts the children will receive this holiday, according to Michael Rosenberg, KFHA president.

“Last year, we had approximately 75 children participate,” noted Nancy Pearlmutter, KFHA board member. “Our goal this year is to provide gifts to even more children, but we need funds to purchase the toys.

“All donations are used for gifts, as the 14-member KFHA Board of Directors supplies all the labor and the food for the event,” Pearlmutter added. “We are hoping that you or your company/ organization will contribute to help support this wonderful occasion for the ‘Children of Farm Share.’”

Donations by check should be made payable to “KFHA Holiday Program Fund” and mailed to: KFHA Holiday Program, 12900 SW 84 St., Miami, FL 33183.
