CBT College Launches “Begin, Belong, Be More” Campaign

[dropcap]S[/dropcap]ince the 1980s, CBT College has prided itself on offering a launching pad to students looking to start a specialized career path. Having begun with seven graduating students, the College has gone on to offer more programs, as well as an innovative approach to post secondary education. Their current slogan highlights the values that the college is ushering forward: “Begin. Belong. Be More.”

While many colleges measure success solely on grade point averages and a large student body, CBT College has taken the distinct perspective in offering smaller class sizes and encourages evolution within their Student Success Center. These tools allow for each student attending classes to have all of the resources to succeed in their personal and career endeavors.

“Graduation is important, but we really want our students to do ‘more’. We want them to not only be active in their chosen workforce, but in the community as well,” says Monica Llerena, Chief Operating Officer. “We highlight ‘Be More’ because we offer our students lifetime placement and free refresher courses, and allow them to use us as a resource even after graduation.”

With programs offered in Digital Graphic Design, Medical Assisting, Networking Administration, along with many others, CBT College offers a way to begin a path towards a specialized career field, or the first step in an academic career.

“CBT College is an opportunity to head into a new direction. Our college should serve as a place to ‘Begin’ your journey based on an important first step,” says Llerena. “Some students can be intimidated by a large university setting, and work best with a one on one approach. We are here to help them develop a goal.”

CBT College opened its doors in the late 80s, and has strived to provide affordable career training. Since then, the college has expanded its reach into many branches all over West Kendall, Cutler Bay, Hialeah, Flagler and Miami Gardens.
