We want to keep the
area for agricultural pursuits, such as ranches
and farms, growing plants and raising animals.
Consider this:
- Do you want an
agricultural tax exemption?
- Do you want
animals & plants in Horse Country instead
of business zoning?
- Would you like a
single family home next to you or a school or
a church?
As long as we have
vacant land in Horse Country we will have
developers knocking on our door. Their idea of
paradise is to cram in as many houses per acre as
possible, and put in 10,000 square foot daycare
centers and more churches and Schools in Horse
Country.
Our only chance to
keep this area agricultural is let the Community
Council know we are united in fighting
commercialism within our boundaries.
Get behind your
Association by joining, by attending a meeting now
and then by showing up at the council hearings
that impact Horse Country.
We meet the second
Thursday of every month except August in one of
our neighbor's home on rotating basis. We invite
everyone to attend the meetings and meet your
neighbors.
Help "Keep
Horse Country Green" by filling out the
