JOIN US FOR A SPECIAL THIRD THURSDAY
We will be formally recognizing the artists that painted the Surfside Turtles.
We will be conducting interviews for hosts in the Miami Beach area. If you have a spare room that is furnished and are interested in learning about other cultures then we are looking for you. We pay hosts $750 to $1000 per month depending on the program to keep international students in their homes. Please call 786.417.4543 between the hours of 10am and 4pm to conduct a phone interview and schedule a home visit/interview at your convenience. If busy, please leave a message, and we will contact you as soon as possible.
Join us on Saturday, January 12th and Sunday, January 13th from 9:00am - 5:00pm to view the turtle sculptures that are part of the Tales of the Surfside Turtle experience. All eighteen will be in one place before they are placed throughout the Town.
Three Northeast Miami-Dade Chambers of Commerce have joined together to produce BIZZ BASH EXPO hosted by FIU's Kovens Conference Center. Over 100 businesses will exhibit and promote their products and services. Food trucks, author's circle & book signings, car showcase, police challenge, door prizes and more will make this free community event one not to be missed.
Come join all of your fellow ghosts and goblins for an all ages block party. Surfside police officers will be distributing candy and glow sticks. For further information please contact Sgt. Jay Matelis or Dina Goldstein at (305)861-4862.
