The fabulous flowers of south Florida are featured at this year’s USDA ARS Community Day at Chapman Field. Come join us at this USDA research facility, see how agricultural research and experiments are done during lab tours, and take an air conditioned bus tour of the experimental groves and extensive plant collections.

Visit 3C’s Preschool with your children!  Our OPEN HOUSE will be held Thursday, March 14, 2013 @ 6:30pm.  Learn about our new Kindergarten Program.  Teachers welcome families in their classrooms and you can observe the work of our students.  Also, bring any questions you might have to the Fellowship Hall where the Director will give parents a better understanding of the programs and activities offered at 3C's Preschool.  Children who attend can make and/or create art at one of our craft tables.  Brochures and other information will be available.

On Sunday, March 3, at 11:30, SOS will hold their annual Bowling Against Bullying fundraiser at Bird Bowl.  This event was created to raise awareness about bullying and violence prevention among our youth. Proceeds have been donated to organizations such as the Melissa Institute, and the Josie Lou Ratley fund.

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is recruiting individuals to participate in their bi-annual Team Challenge program, an endurance training and fundraising program. Through Team Challenge, you can run, or walk, 13.1 miles, or train for a triathlon or cycling event while helping to find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, two chronic and often debilitating digestive diseases.
