The Center for Family and Child Enrichment is a private non-profit child welfare agency that has been enriching the lives of children and families for over 35 years. During this time, we have calmed the fears of children who were alone and placed them in loving homes. Our mission is to help children and families help themselves live a better life and build a stronger community. All donations received are tax deductible to the extent of the law.

Amy Nobile and Trisha Ashworth, the famous authors of I Was a Really Good Mom Before I Had Kids, will share their views on modern motherhood at a free, public event at Scheck Hillel Community School. The duo, who has appeared on The Today Show and Oprah, will discuss the ups and downs of motherhood at the school’s Annual Guardian of Learning Event, presented by the HIP/PTA (Hillel Involved Parents). Books can be purchased in the campus’ Juda and Maria Diener Lower School office.

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) is recruiting individuals to participate in their bi-annual Team Challenge program, an endurance training and fundraising program. Through Team Challenge, you can run, or walk, 13.1 miles, or train for a triathlon or cycling event while helping to find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, two chronic and often debilitating digestive diseases.
