Brickell World Plaza had to re-schedule Movies on the Plaza featuring The Notebook, from Feb. 15, 2013, to Feb. 28, 2013, due to the weather. The movie is a 2004 romantic drama directed by Nick Cassavetes, from a screenplay written by Jeremy Leven and Jan Sardi, which is in turn based on the novel of the same name by Nicholas Sparks.
The film stars Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams as a young couple who fall in love during the early 1940s (Wikipedia).
Movies on the Plaza is a free, family-friendly event sponsored by Brickell World Plaza each month.
Parking is free in the surface lot. Chair rentals are available.
Bring dinner. Bring snacks. Coolers are allowed, but please, no glass or bottles. Movies nights are subject to favorable weather conditions.
