Plan Ahead Events Greater Miami is pleased to present the Mom’s Day 5K Run/Walk at Zoo Miami on Mother’s Day: Sunday May 12, 2013. The competitive yet fun and family friendly event is geared towards raising awareness and funds for the Zoo Miami Conservation Fund. The certified and timed race allows you to run, jog or walk among the many wonderful animals and plants found throughout Zoo Miami. In addition, your registration fee includes admission to the zoo as well as lots of exciting post race activities you won’t want to miss. There will be an awards ceremony for top race performers for age groups, music, snacks, activities for kids, and a special tribute to all moms.
