Hispanic Scholarship Fund and Wells Fargo partner to provide free, bilingual college planning workshop
According to recent U.S. Census data, the number of Hispanic 18 to 24-year-olds enrolled in college has reached a new high—2.4 million—and has been growing since 2009. To enable the continuation of this trend, HSF in partnership with Wells Fargo, will host College Camp Miami, a bilingual college preparedness workshop for local students and their families. The all-day session will be led by college representatives, community leaders and business professionals — qualified experts who will provide answers to questions about planning and paying for college. Hundreds of Hispanic students and parents have already registered and more are expected to attend.
