Sylvester at Deerfield Beach introduces the Lobdell Mind-Body Wellness Seminar series designed to optimize the physical, emotional and social well-being of patients by integrating traditional medicine with complementary medical techniques, including acupuncture, massage therapy, yoga, tai chi, herbal medicine therapy, and psychological therapies that include meditation, guided visual imagery, progressive muscle relaxation and cognitive behavior therapy.
Seminars are open to the general public and meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. The February sessions will focus on Cardiovascular Disease (myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, hypertension, coronary artery disease, dyslipidemia).
