For the beaded tapestry bracelet, we will be using a loom to create a one-of-a kind beaded tapestry cuff inspired by a Claudia Chase design. Show your artistic personality through your selection and placement of fibers and beads that is totally unique to you. In this class each student will be setting up and using a simple loom. We will quickly and easily weave a strip of mixed fibers and beads that will then be transformed into a solid cuff. This project might not be totally completed during our class time but each student will leave with all the tools necessary to finish the cuff.
The class fee is $30 and the kit is $15. The kit includes basic jewelry loom.
Bring: Students will need to bring a bead mat, tape measure, as well as scissors to cut fibers and thread. You may bring magnifiers if you need to.
