Amy Nobile and Trisha Ashworth, the famous authors of I Was a Really Good Mom Before I Had Kids, will share their views on modern motherhood at a free, public event at Scheck Hillel Community School. The duo, who has appeared on The Today Show and Oprah, will discuss the ups and downs of motherhood at the school’s Annual Guardian of Learning Event, presented by the HIP/PTA (Hillel Involved Parents). Books can be purchased in the campus’ Juda and Maria Diener Lower School office.
Scheck Hillel Community School is one of the largest Jewish day schools in the nation. From early childhood through Grade 12, it inspires students to become exemplary global citizens with enduring Jewish identity through an innovative curriculum enriched by co-curricular experiences. All of this is set within a nurturing, international community united by core values. Hillel is the only private school in South Florida and the only Jewish school in the country to be named a 2011 Blue Ribbon School by U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. Hillel is also Florida’s first Jewish International Baccalaureate (IB) World School®.
