The 2012 annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night® Miami-Dade Walk, which raises funds for blood cancer research and provides support to patients and their families, will take place Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 5-8pm at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami, 301 North Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, Florida 33132.
More than 2,600 walkers and 280 teams are registered to attend the Miami-Dade Light the Night® Walk being chaired by Ralph E. Lawson, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Baptist Health South Florida, Inc. Light The Night® Walk events are evenings filled with inspiration. During this leisurely walk, participants carry illuminated balloons - white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer - thousands of walkers - men, women and children - form a community of caring, bringing light to the dark world of cancer.
