Doral’s best restaurants have given a warm and delicious welcome to the 63rd Annual MISS UNIVERSE® Pageant Contestants. The ladies were hosted by top, local eateries: Il Forno, Harvest Delights, Trattoria Di Campo, Layali Miami, Umami, Divieto’s Italian-American Fusion, Sergio’s Cuban Restaurant, and Basilico Ristorante. The Mayor of Doral, Luigi Boria, and the City Council attended multiple restaurant events, which began on January 4th.
The restaurants offered the contestants delicious cuisine as well as interactive experiences, from playing with a real-life monkey at Layali Miami to playing chef at Trattoria Di Campo. The dining experiences were enjoyed by the world-wide beauties and the community alike, as they were able to engage and get to know beautiful and diverse Doral, a little better.
The MISS UNIVERSE pageant is the most important global beauty event. Each year a new queen is crowned. Doral will host the contestants this year and the world of beauty will concentrate on this touristic and business city of over 50,000 residents, located in Miami-Dade County in South Florida.
