Banco do Brasil Americas opens new branch in Doral

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Banco Do Brasil Americas celebrated the opening of their fifth branch in Doral recently. Attending the event were hundreds of guests. Among the dignitaries were Ambassador Helio Victor Ramos, Consul General of Brazil, Councilwomen Sandra Ruiz and Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera of the City of Doral, and Antonio Cassio Segura, President and CEO of Banco do Brasil Americas.

Banco do Brasil Americas is headquartered in the state of Florida and was launched in 2012 after its predecessor Eurobank Florida was acquired by their parent company, Banco do Brasil (established in 1809).

“Banco do Brasil has been in business for over 200 years. It has locations in 24 countries, 60 million customers and 5,000 branches. It is the biggest bank in Latin America and the 36th largest bank in the world. ,” said Antonio Cassio Segura.

Like its other branches, the Doral bank is a full service bank offering checking and savings accounts, time deposits, debit and credit cards, and domestic and international funds transfers. There are ATMs, internet banking and online bill payment options. Portuguese, English and Spanish-speaking staff is available for the convenience of the client.

B of B Americas also offers a mortgage product that is designed for non-residents purchasing real estate in Florida. They offer a credit card program that helps newcomers to the country build their United States credit. Their goal is to open a branch in Aventura and Deerfield Beach by the end of this year and to launch branches in Fort Lauderdale and Orlando by the end of 2015.
