Jose Rodriguez

Adonel Concrete has named Jose Rodriguez its controller, according to an announcement by Luis Garcia, president.

Rodriguez brings more than 20 years of financial management and reporting experience in residential and commercial property management and corporate development to the position.

He will be responsible for all financial and accounting functions of the company including cash management, financial reporting, payables, budgeting and internal controls.

Previously controller at Universal Realty Management, a Hollywood-based property management office, Rodriguez was also former controller at the Fort Lauderdale office of Highland Capital, a commercial real estate management company.

Rodriguez earned a master’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Barry University and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Florida International University.

Founded in 1984, Adonel Concrete currently has a total of 11 concrete plants: four in Miami-Dade County, one in Broward County, two in Palm Beach County, two in St. Lucie County and two in Haiti, totaling more than 210 employees and a fleet of 120 trucks.
