Hialeah Hospital received a “Get With Guidelines” Quality Achievement Award for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association/American College of Cardiology Foundation’s secondary prevention guidelines June 3.

The AHA program that helps hospital teams provides the most up-to-date guidelines to speed recovery and reduce hospital readmissions for heart failure patients.
