This summer, enjoy the many different fruits that are in season during the Redland Summer Fruit Festival at the Fruit and Spice Park on Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Fruit and Spice Park is located at 24801 SW 187 Ave. in Homestead.
The Redland Summer Fruit Festival will feature local agriculture and tropical-fruit plants on display and for sale. Visit the concession booths offering fruit-based foods such as fruit smoothies, fried cheesecake, tropical fruit ice cream, and other mouth-watering foods.
Live entertainment with steel drum music, and a children’s area will feature the Little Farm Petting Zoo, pony rides, a watermelon-eating contest, water balloon toss, and other fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Admission is $8 per adult and children under age 12 are admitted for free.
