‘Open Mic Night’ at Town Hall an informal event

Speak up! The Town of Cutler Bay will host “Open Mic Night” on Wednesday, April 22 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. It will take place in the Council Chambers at Town Hall 10720 Caribbean Blvd., Suite 115, in Cutler Bay. It’s an official public Town Hall Meeting, but with a less formal approach to allow residents to voice their concerns to the council in a more comfortable setting. “The Mayor and Town Council encourage all residents to seize this opportunity to speak with them and ask any questions they may have. The Town Hall meeting is not a time for Council Members to make speeches or take any position on issues. Council Members wishing to do so will be deemed ‘out of order,’ as this is our residents’ night to have the floor. We ask that you share your opinions, ideas, and hopes for our town in a peaceful and respectful manner.” Staffers also want to remind all participants that this is a public Town Hall meeting and will be audio recorded. All participants are being asked to be mindful and respectful of their time and opinions, and those of other participants. Should a participant prefer to submit their questions, comments or concerns in writing, please feel free to email info@cutlerbay-fl.gov or mail your thoughts to Town Hall, Attn: Rafael G. Casals, Town Manager, 10720 Caribbean Blvd., Suite 105, Cutler Bay, Florida 33189. For information call 305-234-4262 or visit the website at www.cutlerbay-fl.gov.

By the way, the regular monthly Council Meeting is on Wednesday April 15 at 7:00 p.m., at the address given above.
