East Ridge at Cutler Bay will host “The Art of Aging Well” on Tuesday, Feb. 24, and Thursday, Feb. 26. Both events are scheduled for 11 a.m.
Facilitated by Rick Drew, East Ridge’s director of sales and marketing, the presentation will address how to find fulfillment in the “second stage” of retirement — the post-retirement years.

“Study after study shows a direct correlation between finding one’s purpose and positive, successful aging,” Drew said. “At Eat Ridge, we focus on eight components of wellness (social, vocational, intellectual, spiritual, physical, emotional, environmental and health services) to ensure residents are leading active, engaged and fulfilling lives.”

Both sessions are free and open to the public. Reservations can be made by calling 305-256-3564.

Now undergoing an extensive $70 million expansion program incorporating a new Health Center, East Ridge at Cutler Bay will offer private assisted living apartments including studio suites and one- and two-bedroom apartment homes as well as a new memory care facility, skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.

The community is located at 19301 SW 87 Ave. and is the area’s only life care community and draws from the rich neighborhood charm of suburban Cutler Bay and the vibrancy of Miami in a lush tropical environment of 76 acres.
