The administrative team at Coral Gables Hospital took part in the ALS “Ice Bucket Challenge” that has gained popularity on social media to benefit the ALS Association and its 38 chapters.

The campaign has gone viral on the Internet with the goal of raising funding and awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known in the United States as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The A-team at Coral Gables Hospital was challenged to participate in this healthcare trend by marketing manager Maria Gidley. Jeffrey M. Welch, CEO; David O’Brien, chief nursing officer; Cristina Jimenez, chief operating officer, and Henry Capote, chief financial officer, proudly wore their blue “Take Me To Coral Gables Hospital” T-shirts as they splashed heavy buckets of ice and cold water on their heads.

  1. When i first started on the ww w .multivitamincare .org ALS/MND treatment, I was completely immobile due to my long term ALS condition. I was taking high doses of prednisone and anti-inflammatory medicines, which caused many bad side effects. After i started on the ALS herbal therapy, my condition greatly improved. Its been 13 months since treatment, i can never be thankful enough”
