With more than 30 restaurants already confirmed to participate, Coral Gables Restaurant Week 2011, set to take place June 6-19 is expected to satisfy even the most discriminating palates.

Now in its fourth year and presented by Bacardi USA Inc., Coral Gables Restaurant Week gives “foodies” the chance to indulge in specially priced, three-course menus at an array of Coral Gables’ finest restaurants.

Coral Gables Restaurant Week menus feature the international flavor of participating restaurants’ signature dishes and represent savings of at least 20 percent off the regular menu prices.

Participating restaurants signed to-date include Anacapri on Ponce, Angelique Euro Cafe, Bangkok Bangkok, Benihana, Caffe Abbracci, Caffe Vialetto, California Pizza Kitchen, Charlotte Bistro, Coral Gables Ale House, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Fritz & Franz Bierhaus, Gables Diner, Graziano’s Restaurant, Hawa Fusion, Il Grissino, JohnMartin’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, La Cofradia, La Dorada, Le Provencal, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Norman’s 180, Ortanique on the Mile, Pardo’s Peruvian Cuisine, Pasha’s, Por Fin Restaurant & Lounge, Randazzo’s Little Italy, Red Koi Thai & Sushi Lounge, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Seasons 52, Sushi Maki, Talavera Cocina Mexicana and Tarpon Bend Raw Bar & Grill.

“It’s thrilling to be in our fourth year and to be able to welcome back favorite eateries like Tarpon Bend and Morton’s, plus have the opportunity to showcase newcomers like Seasons 52 and Charlotte Bistro,” said Mari Gallet, executive director of the Business Improvement District (BID) of Coral Gables.

“I’ve taken a peek at the menus our chefs have created and can say that patrons will have a tough time choosing where to dine. It’s a good thing we have two weeks to try all the delectable choices,” she said.

For two weeks, participating restaurants will offer special three-course lunch and dinner menus and guests (21 years of age and older) will have the opportunity to try the Original Bacardi Mojito Cocktail or a glass of Martini Prosecco wine, the official cocktails of Coral Gables Restaurant Week, at participating restaurants with full bars.

“We’re proud to be once again supporting an amazing week of fine food and drink right here in our home of Coral Gables,” said Andrea Eastaugh, field marketing manager for Bacardi USA Inc. “This year’s lineup includes a collection of some of Coral Gables most popular eateries and we’re excited to pair the Original Bacardi Mojito Cocktail and Martini Prosecco with the mouthwatering menus they’ll offer throughout the week.”

Restaurant Week menus are available for both lunch and dinner depending on the restaurant, and are now available online at www.coralgablesrestaurantweek.com. Advance reservations are recommended as many restaurants book completely during this popular promotion.
