2013 South Florida Palm Society Spring Palm Show and Sale

The South Florida Palm Society will host the 2013 Spring Palm Show and Sale. The World’s Largest Sale of palms and cycads has thousands of rare and exotic plants for sale. Ribbons are awarded for several categories including “rarest palm” and “most unusual plant.” The sale will be held at the Montgomery Botanical Center, with parking and entrance at Gulliver Academy, 12595 Red Road (SW 57 Ave), 33156. The sale will be held on March 9 and 10. Sale hours are 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday.
Gate admission is $5, and free to children 16 and younger accompanied by an adult. A guided tour Montgomery Botanical Center is included.
There will be an advice desk to answer your palm questions and with information on the proper methods to grow a variety of these plants. In addition, there will be several artists displaying their work. Please join us.
Guests are invited to attend South Florida Palm Society general meetings on the first Monday of every even-numbered month.
