The Junior Orange Bowl recently welcomed Jessica Cerda- Antomarchi as the organization’s new executive director.

Cerda-Antomarchi has more than 15 years of experience in non-profit fundraising and joins the Junior Orange Bowl from the American Heart Association where she served as the Miami Heart Society director.

A native of New York, Cerda-Antomarchi has been in South Florida since 1987. Upon receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Miami, she quickly found her passion in the non-profit sector and has had the opportunity to work with several local and national organizations.

Cerda-Antomarchi joins the Junior Orange Bowl as preparations begin for the 66th annual festival of events and parade. The Junior Orange Bowl offers a yearly schedule of over 15 athletic, academic, and cultural events in South Florida. The season is highlighted by the annual parade, which marches through Downtown Coral Gables.

The 2014 parade will take place on Sunday, Nov. 30, as participants celebrate this year’s theme “Route 66.”
