CoralGables@HOME member Helen Grier tells why she loves the program.

Members and guests of CoralGables@HOME gathered at the Coral Gables Museum on Thursday, Feb. 17, for a reception to learn about the nonprofit membership program helping senior residents maintain active and independent lifestyles at home.

“Northern Trust is proud to sponsor this reception to introduce CoralGables@HOME to the community,” said Diane Cruz, regional marketing director for Northern Trust. “This important nonprofit membership program provides an alternative to relocating late in life.”

CoralGables@HOME executive director Marli Lutz and member Helen Grier spoke about CoralGables@HOME. The program is part of a growing trend of more than 50 private organizations across the country. CoralGables@HOME is the only functioning program in Florida.

“I finally took my best advice and joined CoralGables@HOME,” Grier said.

Membership benefits include monthly social and cultural events; discounts on home repairs and services from background-checked providers; dining and shopping discounts; a one-call resource for any question, and transportation services. Annual CoralGables@HOME  membership dues are $60 per month or $650 a year.
