Chuck Little is a man whose passion for community service has made an enormous impact on the lives of countless young people and whose work with the Junior Orange Bowl Committee continues to make a difference.

Born on a Naval Base in Memphis, TN, Little was raised in Illinois after his father was transferred to Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul. After high school, Chuck earned a degree from Western Illinois University, in Macomb, IL.

He has had an extensive business career since locating to Miami working 12 years as comptroller for Southeast Mortgage, then more than seven years as CFO of Charter American and, since March 2009, Chuck has been chief financial officer of Alliance Ground International.

Chuck first became involved in local non-profit activity in 1978 through Kiwanis. Since that time, he has served as president of both Kiwanis Club of Miami Bayside and Kiwanis Youthland and has served on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami. With a love for the sport of basketball, he became a basketball coach for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Miami, Tamiami Youth Basketball League as well as the Suniland Youth Basketball League. Chuck also serves on the board of directors for the Kiwanis Club of Miami and is the President-Elect of the Kiwanis Club of Miami.

Chuck’s obvious passion for basketball made him an ideal candidate to take over chairmanship of that event when he joined the Junior Orange Bowl Committee where he has served multiple years on its board before being elected president. Now, as JOBC past president, he still continues to chair the Girls and Boys Basketball Tournaments that has been elevated to new heights under his leadership.

Chuck has been married to Nancy Little for 17 years. The two have two sons, Kenny and Michael, from Chuck’s previous marriage and a daughter and son, Carol and Michael, from Nancy’s. Kenny and wife, Kelly, have blessed them with two grandchildren, Lyndsey (3 1/2 years) and Courtney (1 1/2 years) and live in Raleigh, NC, where both Kenny and Kelly work for Lenovo. Michael lives in Tallahassee where he works for the Florida Legislature. Daughter Carol lives in Delaware and is a doctor specializing in gastroenterology, and son Michael works for the FAA as an air traffic controller living in Miami and is married to Angelique who is a nurse practitioner.

When not spending time with family and organizing basketball tournaments, Chuck enjoys watching basketball, golfing and NASCAR.
