Caffe Abbracci in Coral Gables celebrated 25 years in business — to the day —Sunday, July 6, with hundreds of diners, both regulars and new friends.
With the Perrier Jouet girls in white gracefully pouring champagne and diners enjoying the complete Abbracci menu at $25 per person plus $25 continuous pour of champagne, Nino Pernetti and his daughter, Tatiana, toured the tables greeting every smiling face, sharing stories and memories, with over four generations of people in attendance.
In attendance were Dr. Ferdie and Luisita Pacheco (co-author of Nino’s Abbracci Cookbook), Mr. and Mrs. Raul Martinez (former mayor of Hialeah), Dr. and Mrs. Michael Gordon (University of Miami), Mr. Nestor Cueto and family, Lombardo Perez and family (owner of Metro Ford) and so many other familiar faces as far back as three generations of family.
Even after 25 years, Pernetti continues to orchestrate a symphony of great food, wine and service, flawlessly blending a menu that is constantly changing to offer new experiences to his loyal clientele with a staff that remains consistently professional and committed.
