Alhambra Orchestra ‘Springtime’ concert to honor Women’s Day

The Alhambra Orchestra continues its 25th anniversary season with an intimate chamber orchestra concert in the lovely setting of historic Coral Gables Congregational Church on Sunday, Mar. 8, at 7:30 p.m.

In keeping with International Women’s Day, the program features pianist Zoe Zeniodi performing Pheadra by Miami’s own Thomas Sleeper; soprano Kimberly Soby singing Vivaldi’s Vengo a Voi, and violinist Liubov Ohrimenko performing Bach’s E minor Violin Concerto with the string ensemble. Program includes string pieces by Grainger and Mascagni, and a lively wind ensemble arrangement of Mozart’s Don Giovanni.

Free admission and free parking at Coral Gables Congregational Church, 3010 DeSoto Blvd. in Coral Gables.

Alhambra Orchestra is a non-profit community orchestra made up primarily of volunteer musicians. Interested musicians are welcome to audition.
